Adia Hickman
Administrative Assistant Intern
I am a Twin Cities raised, third-year undergraduate psychology scholar and currently have the honor of serving as the administrative intern at Reviving Roots. Outside of office hours, I am a lifelong learner, committed racial justice organizer, entrepreneur, hairstylist, and devoted community and family member.
In every role I take on, I keep Black wellness at the forefront. Growing up in community, I witnessed its beauty, challenges, and resilience. Those experiences taught me that meaningful change requires us to invest in what is both essential and too often compromised, our wellness.
When Black people are well, we are able to do more than survive, we can truly thrive. My life and career mission is to support Black communities in moving from simply making it to living with mental, emotional, and spiritual abundance.
