Black Healer’s Book Club

Where Black mind, body, and spirit meet truth, wisdom, and each other.

The Black Healers Book Club is a community-centered space for Black folks to read, reflect, and grow together through texts that deepen our understanding of healing, joy, resistance, and liberation. Curated in partnership with Latosha Cox of Curator of Joy and Black Girl Sabbatical, this donation-based book club brings intentional conversation, cultural insight, and shared reflection into community healing. Whether you’re a therapist, healer, seeker, or movement instructor, you’re welcome to show up, engage, and build together. All donation proceeds support our Flourish Fund, helping us make these spaces accessible for Black wellness and collective care.

    Facilitator

Latosha Cox (she/her) is the founder and curator of Black Girl Sabbatical™️, a coaching, consulting, and wellness platform born from her own journey of healing, rest, and self-discovery. After stepping away from a leadership role to prioritize her own mental health and well-being, Latosha created Black Girl Sabbatical to shift the narrative around rest, joy, and wellness for Black women. She works as a facilitator, leadership and transition coach, and mental health advocate, helping individuals and organizations center holistic wellness and develop practices that sustain long-term care. Latosha’s work is rooted in authenticity, boundaries, joy, and cultural insight, and she brings that lived experience and purpose into every conversation she leads.
