Khadijah Ramadan, MA (she/her)

My multicultural, trauma informed existential theory of practice and core values rooted in Black Excellence are in direct alignment with the mission, vision and goals of Reviving Roots. For me this is not just an opportunity for employment, it is also a chance to partner with likeminded Black Healers who seek to create healthy space for Black people to heal.

My purpose is to ensure collective growth and the resurrection of the village inspiring community based excellence in all mental health services offered throughout the community. By working collectively with other clinics, agencies, and organizations , we can ensure that everyone, regardless of socioeconomic disparities, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, class and color is being provided the best service.

I believe that my personal  methodologies will be influential in the healing of symptoms related to mental health and substance abuse, while also facilitating collective community wellness.

My foundation is centered in faith and  spirituality, as well as an unwavering belief in the power of collective family and community healing.

As a native of North Minneapolis,

I have never forgotten my roots or the community that shaped and supported me to become the healer that I am today. I often feel compelled to give back because I have been abundantly blessed with the power to help others heal.

I am immensely proud to be part of a movement towards community healing. Incorporating the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi, I believe that in order to see change, you have to be the change that you wish to see in the world.

Love & Light,
