Money Moves: 4 Part Series

Money carries more than numbers — it carries stories, survival, and self-worth. Money Moves is a four-part workshop series designed to help Black folks build a more grounded and liberated relationship with money. Led by Michael Dorsey, Chief Intelligence Officer at Small Business Financial Intelligence, and supported by a Reviving Roots therapist, this series brings together financial education and emotional awareness in one space.

Each session blends practical financial tools with reflection and mindfulness. We’ll cover budgeting, credit, investing, and future planning — not just from a numbers standpoint, but from a place of healing, embodiment, and empowerment. Because it’s one thing to know the information, and another to feel safe enough to use it.

This is a closed group, designed for consistency and trust. Participants commit to all four sessions, moving together through a process that honors both financial learning and emotional grounding. Whether you’re rebuilding credit, learning to invest, or planning for the future, this space will help you align your money decisions with your values and sense of purpose.

Payment + Sliding Scale

We offer a sliding scale because financial wellness should be accessible to everyone. Our money stories, access, and responsibilities all look different — and that doesn’t make any of us less deserving of care. The sliding scale allows those with greater financial capacity to help make space for those with less.

Sliding Scale Rates:

  • $240 — Supporter Rate | For individuals with financial stability and organizations sponsoring participants. Paying at this level helps sustain community access.

  • $150 — Standard Rate | For those with consistent income who can meet their basic needs without much financial strain.

  • $90 — Community Rate | For those with limited income or financial hardship. Limited spots available at this rate.

Use coupon codes MONEY240, MONEY150, or MONEY90 at checkout to select your rate.

Each payment covers all four sessions of the Money Moves series. Because this is a closed group, participants commit to the full experience — creating a consistent, connected space for learning and reflection.
