Azania Tripp, LGSW

Outpatient Therapist

Azania grew up in St. Cloud, Minnesota. She has a Bachelor of Science in Youth Studies from the University of Minnesota and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan. She is a licensed LGSW. Azania has over ten years of experience working with children, youth, traditional and non-traditional college students, and families using intercultural communication. Her passion is to foster a collaborative space where clients can set goals, share their progress, and advocate for their needs and wants. Azania has certification in Sexual Assault Advocacy and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills and has received training in mental health first aid. She is currently working towards her certification in Motivational Interviewing.

Black wellness matters to Azania because it addresses the realities of systemic intergenerational trauma through joy and education, and it utilizes cultural practices within our Pan-African diaspora.
