Vickie Crisler, MA
Outreach Therapist
We can find ourselves at a point in our lives where it’s difficult to move forward because we’ve become discouraged with life challenges. It’s important to have a non-judgmental, compassionate, calm, and safe place to explore your thoughts and feelings. My therapeutic approach involves working collaboratively with people to reach desired outcomes. Working toward practical solutions and concrete goals. I utilize narrative, solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, Adlerian, positive psychology, and family systemic therapeutic approaches. As no two people are alike, my overall approach is tailored specifically to the situation and individual needs.
Before joining Reviving Roots as a mental health therapist, I worked as an IHRP Therapist, Family Intervention Specialist, and Functional Family Therapist. I’ve been a licensed substance use counselor since 2009.
I see myself as a relational therapist who takes a positive psychological perspective believing we all have strengths and deficits. It is important to empower people as they work through difficult life transitions, traumas, and relational challenges.
If you’re ready to move toward positive change, I encourage you to take that first step.
